It’s Official: Dolph Ziggler’s WrestleMania Match
Break out the pickles, slather on the suntan lotion and get ready to pump those fists, WWE Universe: Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is going to WrestleMania. The reality television icon, New York Times best-selling author and Rolling Stone cover girl will join John Morrison & legendary Diva Trish Stratus to battle Dolph Ziggler & Lay-Cool in an explosive Six-Person Tag Team Match.
Crashing the party as special guest star of Monday Night Raw just three weeks before The Show of Shows, the self-proclaimed “Princess of Poughkeepsie” struck up an immediate rapport with The Prince of Parkour. Although Morrison is an admitted Jersey Shore fanatic, WWE’s resident “cougar” Vickie Guerrero made it clear that she is unimpressed by the pint-sized party girl’s outrageous MTV antics. But as fans of the popular series are already well aware, Snooki doesn’t take trash-talking lightly – especially from a “grenade” like Vickie.
When Vickie confronted Snooki in the locker room area and threatened to slap the reality star, the poof-coiffed powder keg unleashed on Vickie with a hard slap of her own. As they say in Seaside Heights, it was on.
Later that night, Vickie – with the help of Michelle McCool & Layla – defeated a returning Trish Stratus to join her so-called “business associate” Dolph Ziggler on Raw. After Vickie celebrated her questionable victory with Lay-Cool, Snooki emerged from her seat at ringside to acquaint the treacherous trio with her own patented brand of Jersey justice. Trish, a Tough Enough trainer and seven-time Women’s Champion, joined her fellow reality television star in the ensuing brawl, prompting Vickie to issue a bold WrestleMania challenge, proposing that Ziggler & Lay-Cool face Morrison, Trish & Snooki on The Grandest Stage of Them All. Never backing down from a challenge – whether it be a dance contest or a game of flip cup – Snooki spoke for her team and accepted.
Joining the likes of Cyndi Lauper, Mr. T, Pamela Anderson, Mike Tyson, and Donald Trump, Snooki is the latest pop-culture icon hoping to make an impact at The Show of Shows. Will her WrestleMania debut alongside Morrison & Trish – in her first WrestleMania match in five years – prove to be a “shore” thing? Or will Vickie & Lay-Cool send the diminutive Jersey Shore star back to the Garden State? To find out, tune in to WrestleMania, April 3, only on pay-per-view.
Lay-Zig-Cool vs. The Pouf From Jersey Shore
We see John Morison backstage with Snooki talking. She says they can always use another cast member on Jersey Shore. Vickie Guerrero ad Dolph Ziggler walk up. Vickie says Snooki thinks she’s special because she got the cover of Rolling Stone. Vickie said she was offered Playboy. Snooki says you can’t fit what Vickie has on one page and smacks her. Vickie vents to Dolph as Snooki and Morrison walk off and we go to commercial.
Back from commercial and out comes tonight’s RAW guest host Snooki from MTV’s Jersey Shore. Snooki says she has been waiting for this moment all week long. Snooki says she’s ready for Trish Stratus to shut Vickie Guerrero’s mouth up and that’s it. Snooki goes to ringside as Vickie Guerrero makes her way out.
No DQ Match: Vickie Guerrero vs. Trish Stratus
Vickie Guerrero comes in the ring as a No DQ stipulation is added. Vickie asks us to excuse her. She says she will beat Trish Stratus tonight and get a job on RAW. Snooki boo’s Vickie from ringside. Vickie tells Snooki to never touch her again and talks about stealing her spotlight. Vickie says Snooki’s Rolling Stones cover was supposed to be hers and shows a fake cover with Vickie on it. Vickie says she will be the new media darling after tonight. The music of Trish Stratus hits and out she comes to the ring to a nice pop.
The bell rings and here we go. Trish rolls Vickie up for a 2 count. Vickie goes for a kick and Trish catches her leg. Trish shoves Vickie to the mat. Vickie runs around the ring but Trish chases her back in. Vickie tries to fight Trish off with her shoe. She throws it and Trish ducks. Vickie pulls her other shoe off and charges with it. Trish kicks her to the mat. Trish spanks Vickie with the shoe until Dolph Ziggler runs in the ring. John Morrison runs out next and goes at it with Ziggler. They fight to the floor. Michelle McCool and Layla run out. It’s still a No DQ match so everything goes. McCool kicks Trish in the chin and lays her out. Vickie, Layla and McCool all cover Trish at the same time for the win.
Winner: Vickie Guerrero
Vickie celebrates her new job on RAW with LayCool as they all lay on Trish and take photos. McCool points out Snooki and they pick on her height. McCool drops down to the floor and taunts Snooki, who is still sitting down. Snooki stands up and McCool shoves her back into the chair. McCool goes for the ring but Snooki pulls her to the floor. Snooki goes in the ring and leaps onto Layla and works her over. Trish comes back in and takes out McCool while Snookie is on top of Layla. Morrison, Snooki and Trish pose in the ring while LayCool, Dolph and Vickie are on the floor. Vickie tells Snooki she is way over her head. Vickie says she is going to show them all what they deserve. Vickie challenges the three of them to face LayCool and Ziggler at WrestleMania. Snooki, Morrison and Trish accept and we have a match for WrestleMania. Time for another break.

THE “FIRST & ONLY” INTERVIEW

Unless you’ve been living under The Rock (har, har), you may have noticed that the WWE Universe has been buzzing lately over RAW’s latest addition, Dolph Ziggler. The anonymous RAW GM has capitalized on Team Blue’s biggest loss, courtesy of the biggest mistake made in Teddy Long’s career: firing Ziggler! Well, have we got an exclusive for you.
Prior to Dolph Ziggler’s triumphant return to RAW last night, he had given DolphZiggler.Com his only interview since the infamous SmackDown departure. Always a great honor for us, but especially so since having been crowned the World Heavyweight Champion. However, before we could go ahead and get it up on the website, does WWE pull a fast one on the Dolfans!
So, where does that leave us? Technically, we have the first interview since Dolph’s return, but also the only interview conducted while he was fired. Put two and two together, and we’ve got ourselves “The First & Only Interview!” Thank you, thank you. Dolph’s play on words has finally rubbed off on us.
What have we got in store for you? Well, how would you like to find out how he spent his time off? Or maybe you’d be interested in what exactly made “little Mr. Ziggles” black and blue for two weeks! But then there’s that story about three girls and one jock, too. Also, for the first time ever, Dolph shares his work-out secrets! Ah, heck! It’s an all-around great set of questions followed by entertaining answers that only Dolph can provide. Dolph Ziggler’s return is just the beginning, as our interview will whet any Dolfan’s appetite.
DolphZiggler.Com: First and foremost, the question that is on everyone’s mind: Which side of the bed does Vickie Guerrero sleep on? OK, that was easy: all sides. But seriously, what have you been up to since we’ve last seen you?
Dolph Ziggler: “Since being fired, I have been enjoying the beautiful weather of Bikini Bottom; relaxing my body, stealing the show at the Playboy Mansion party and have recently just flew my parents in to check out my new house in Hollywood, AZ. I had a very hectic schedule with SmackDown, and I loved it. But, I’m resting my body and enjoying life while I figure out what the next step is.”
DZ.Com: The World Heavyweight Championship: Is it better to have won and loss, or to have never won at all?
Ziggler: “Well, from an independent booking standpoint, it helps to say: “Former World Heavyweight Champion” (A la’ David Arquette and Vince Russo) otherwise, it’s painful to me. I work so damn hard every day of my life and always have, and as much as I would have loved to sneak in the backdoor (like a real HEEL would), I almost don’t count it. I will get a legitimate title run, just not sure where though.”
DZ.Com: Knowing Mr. Ziggler, we’re pretty sure that he could never get used to the WWE Universe fawning all over him. But, has anyone ever taken it a step too far? What’s the craziest experience you’ve encountered with a fan?
Ziggler: “I’m used to the WWE Universe fawning all over me, and screaming for me like teenagers at a Beatles concert. Nothing is off limits when crazed fans are involved, but I have had ninja-like sneak attack smooches from fans, too!”
DZ.Com: Believe it or not, we actually get a lot of requests regarding your workout regimen. If you’re feeling particularly generous today, would you like to share with your Dolfans perhaps some of your favorite go-to gym routines?
Ziggler: “I’m a big fan of switching up workouts and I’m always trying new things, but when I’m not on the road, I love working out twice a day! I do a lot of cardio and I don’t half-ass it! A usual day will consist of 30-40 minutes of cardio (on an empty stomach), 20-30 minutes of circuit training (lots of controlled rep’s, say 25-30), and no breaks in between, just move to another workout. I will usually workout half my body during one of these routines, then 15 more minutes of cardio. Later in the day, I go back and do a different cardio for 20-30 minutes, and another circuit! That’s a day at home, when I have the time.”
DZ.Com: Being on the road can sometimes be pretty unforgiving on the body. Thankfully, however, the fan experience makes it all the more rewarding. With that said, we know that you have an always-aching lower back, and have often chipped a couple of teeth down the road. But, have you sustained any injuries that the WWE Universe was not made aware of? Dirt sheets don’t know everything!
Ziggler: “Dirt sheets don’t know everything… is an understatement! For most of my serious injuries, I have been very upfront about it and the driving and flying and constantly falling down, does a number on the old back and neck. Usually my back hurts from carrying matches (no offense, Daniel Bryanson) these days, but my worst injury is a sore wrist… from signing too many autographs. Sicko’s!”
DZ.Com: This season, you’ll be appearing on MTV’s “Silent Library.” We’ve seen a couple of previews where MTV takes Chyna’s infamous “nut shot” to a whole new level, and… we’ll leave it at that. MTV’s “Silent Library” – what are your thoughts on the experience?
Ziggler: “Oh man! ‘Silent Library’ was one of the worst things I have ever done in my life-and I’ve even bet on the Generals to beat the Globetrotters! If you hate me (and don’t hate me because I’m beautiful, hate me because I’m beautiful, an amazing athlete, and shredded as all get out), or if you hate me, then you will LOVE the show! Tiny little fun fact: little Mr. Ziggles was black and blue for almost two weeks. NOT JOKING!”
DZ.Com: As a proud, openly active Brazzers fan, we’ve got to ask for your expert opinion: which WWE Diva has had the best Playboy pictorial? We couldn’t imagine any of the Diva’s pictorial having been a let down. No pun intended.
Ziggler: “When it comes to Playboy, I only have a lifetime subscription because of the great articles. I didn’t even know they had pictures or “spreads” in there! I appreciate that (almost) ALL of our DIVAS are hot AND jacked (not just starving themselves and being airbrushed). They bust their asses in the gym and THAT’S hot! That being said, the first issue I ever got was in college and it was SABLE! And when that issue came I just said: “Forget law school, I want to be in the WWE!” ”
DZ.Com: We know that you’re a frequent reader, often Tweeting which book has captured your interest to pass the time while on the road. So far, you’ve read memoirs by Chelsea Handler, Kathy Griffin, and Betty White to name a few. Clearly, you like your women not only smoking sexy, but rather funny, too. So, let’s put two and two together. Do you have a hysterically funny moment while in the company of lady?
Ziggler: “Hopefully this counts: I was in college, out on the town, and it was getting to be the end of the night. I told this cute chick that we should go and get something to eat some time, then she gave me a disgusted look (probably because her father didn’t hold her enough, or “too much”), and then she said (snootily): “WHY?!” So, my heel DNA kicked in and I said: “Because you really look like you need a meal!” Then her ‘bigger’ friend ran over all angry, to which I said: “I know that you just heard the word ‘meal’, but slow down. You look like you don’t any have insurance.” To which they all said in unison: “F#CK YOU!” To which I said, (to a 3rd girl with really short hair): “Not even with HIS D*CK!!!”
DZ.Com: We didn’t get many stories out of you from the WWE Road Trip book, but from what we did get, they were pretty hilarious. Care to share a favorite memory while on the road?
Ziggler: “I don’t really have any real fun road stories, because I travel with some veterans. We work out hard every morning, and then eat healthy all the way through the loops of shows. I like being able to have most of my fun in the ring, which I think you can tell!”
DZ.Com: Twitter: You’re immensely popular on Twitter, and yet, you’re very selective with who you follow. You went from following absolutely nobody, to finally following your brother. Then SpongeBob SquarePants, Archer, and… some really random guy. So, we’ve got to ask… what does it take to get a follow from Mr. Perfection?!
Ziggler: “The absolute, without a doubt way to my heart (or at least to my wallet), is to make me laugh! Anything that makes me laugh out loud deserves a re-Tweet, or at least a response! I didn’t plan on following anyone, and my cartoon twin, Archer, recently was un-followed (for lack of tweeting). I followed my brother [Ryan Nemeth] to help him out, and he’s almost as clever as me (another way to ride my coattails!), but SpongeBob SquarePants is hilarious and ALWAYS thinking positive! He makes me smile and is family friendly. That is a double whammy these days.”
FINALLY… MR. ZIGGLES HAS COME BACK… TO RAW!!!

Dolph Ziggler def. John Morrison; Trish Stratus vs. Vickie Guerrero announced for next week
After his termination from SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler appeared eager to prove himself to his new Raw roster mates. Consider it done. The showy Superstar tackled the hefty test of John Morrison and proved he belongs by beating The Shaman of Sexy.
After the bout, his special lady friend, Vickie Guerrero, received a rude awakening when it was revealed that only Ziggler was hired on by the Raw GM, not Vickie. She could join the red brand, however, under one condition: The shrill cougar must defeat former Women’s Champion Trish Stratus next week to secure a spot.

WWE Hall of Famer, Jim Ross, Praises Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler: “Ziggler, if that is his real name, getting ‘fired’ on Friday Night Smackdown’s 600th episode after having a cup of coffee as the World Heavyweight Champion is getting lots of play on Twitter @JRsBBQ and emails to our site. Ziggler has a definite upside, is a skilled mat wrestler and has one of the brighter futures of any athlete in WWE IMO. I don’t know his long term status but I’m thinking that Ziggler is a keeper. I’m interested in seeing where this matter goes in ensuing days and weeks.”
Dolph Ziggler’s Farewell Address To The Nation
As you may know, during last night’s broadcast of WWE SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler was fired from WWE. In his first statement since his departure, Ziggler has taken to his Twitter to bid farewell and good luck to the memories and future of the company.
“Historic 600th episode of WWE Smackdown tonight on SyFy! I will address the DOLPHans after, Thanks for your support over the years!
First of all, I can’t believe that I got to live my dream for this many years and actually come to do it pretty damn well! Even though I used to caddy around and actually went through a rigorous gymnastics and cheerleader training I thought we made it work! I got to make a lot of friends and a couple of enemies, but no matter what, every time I stepped through that curtain, especially these ast 2 years, I felt like a champion, I lived to go to work each day and try to steal the show like no one else could!
No matter what happens in the coming weeks and months, I appreciate the fact that my hard work and countless hours studying and learning paid off! I was in the world title picture as a legitimate threat, and appreciate that I got that chance! Most don’t!
I hope this youth movement continues, and I hope its just not to build young guys up and have the mainstays dominate and not pass the torch. There is a ton of hungry young talents and they LOVE their jobs, just like I and did! Hopefully they get their chance! I hope to see zack ryder, trent barretta, curt hawkins and some others get their chance, bc they love what they do, and remind me of why I got into this business! Hopefully Wrestlemania will not be a look back into the attitude era an have all the young guys watching backstage.
I love the wrestling business, and maybe its time to take that next step into the danger zone, brazzers are u hiring??? Haha. I’m sure the door is always open, and I know I busted my ass every damn day I worked for this company, and no matter how doughy and truly. Annoying the miz is, he’s obviously onto something (2,000 tries later)! Daniel bryan couldn’t draw a dollar with a green crayon! I love hating on him! He got carried to one of (actually THE best match of the year) and john morrison is nothing but a pretty boy doing ballet.
I will see all of u again, SOMEWHERE! And now its time to make an impact and spike someone else’s ratings! U know me, I’d rather be in Dixie. Thank you dolphans for ur support! And know I loved pissing everyone off and stealing their show! I will truly miss this more than anything ……Its only NATURAL.”
The New World Heavyweight Champion… IS FIRED!

SAN DIEGO – “Acting” SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero’s scheme to crown her boyfriend Dolph Ziggler World Champion finally unraveled when real GM Theodore Long returned to SmackDown after his mysterious attack in January. After all was said and done, there was no question that Edge was the true World Heavyweight Champion on the historic 600th episode of SmackDown two nights before the SmackDown Elimination Chamber Match.
SmackDown milestone
SmackDown’s 600th episode officially made the show the third longest running weekly episodic TV show in history.
Edge def. Dolph Ziggler to regain the World Title
With the World Heavyweight Championship technically vacant, Teddy Long righted things by arranging a championship match between Edge and Dolph Ziggler. The Ultimate Opportunist claimed his 11th World Title by dropping Ziggler with a crushing Spear. After the match, Teddy Long said good riddance to Ziggler by firing him. To cap off the historic night, The Rated-R Superstar added insult to injury by leading the WWE Universe in singing “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye,” as Vickie and her boyfriend exited the ring with their tails between their legs.
SmackDown GM Theodore Long interrupted the World Heavyweight Championship Coronation of Dolph Ziggler
With Teddy Long out of the picture after being attacked in January, Vickie and Dolph though they had the perfect plan to wrest the World Title from Edge. After Edge used the Spear last week against Ziggler, Vickie declared that he was no longer the true champion because she deemed the move illegal. But just as their grand plan was about to come to fruition, Teddy Long appeared on SmackDown, shocking Vickie, Ziggler, and the entire WWE Universe, alike. Cracking under the pressure, Vickie revealed it was Ziggler who attacked Teddy back in January. As the two lovers quarreled, Teddy rehired Edge and arranged for him to face Ziggler for the World Title.
“Acting” SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero fired Edge
Citing Edge’s illegal use of the Spear last week, Vickie declared Dolph Ziggler, not Edge, the true World Heavyweight Champion. Then, after saying there would be a Championship Coronation for her boyfriend later in the night, she fired The Rated-R Superstar!
John Cena, Randy Orton, John Morrison, R-Truth, Rey Mysterio & Edge def. CM Punk, Sheamus, Kane, Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre in a 12-Man Tag Team Match
As the third longest weekly episodic TV program in history, SmackDown kicked off its 600th episode with a massive 12-Man Tag Team Match. With members of both the Raw and SmackDown Elimination Chamber Matches in action, it was Edge and Drew McIntyre who tangled first. In the end, it was a 619 from Rey Mysterio to both Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler that set up Edge to seal the deal for his team by Spearing Ziggler.
