Happy 30th Birthday, Heel!

Happy 30th Birthday to the future of WWE, Triple H Dolph Ziggler! It’s taken thirty years, but he’s finally reached ‘perfection status’ – and more importantly, it looks like a championship reign is going to make being 30, that much sweeter! He’s come a long way from Cleavland Hollywood, OH – as a 24 year old shaking pom poms, to fists with some of WWE’s finest, and currently shaking things up in the Intercontinental division. The future is as bright as his blinding pearly whites, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Happy Birthday, Dawwwwlf!
Later today, we’ll be sharing special messages from those close to the man with the golden tan and the sun-kissed locks, otherwise known as ‘Heel.’ For now, enjoy these very special birthday messages:
Dr. Nicholas Theodore, Esq…. Happy Passover. Instead of spankings this year, I’m getting out the iron…..Tsssssssssssssssssssss you GDC.
♥ Nettie
Whenever I need a joke that will make sure to get no reaction from anyone including my 4 year old niece who will laugh at absolutely anything…thankfully I have you in my life to supply me with said joke.
Happy Birthday!
Love,
Scotty Goldman (BEST JOKE OF EM ALL!!!!)
As a treat, we’ve added a special fan forum to the website, where all of Dolph’s fans can chat about – what else? Perfection! So, be sure to show your support by joining our new forum and leaving “Mr. Perfection” a birthday message for him to enjoy!

Dolph Ziggler def. Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston in a Non-Title Match
After Kofi Kingston was sent flying out of the ring during his match with Dolph Ziggler, SmackDown Special Consultant Vickie Guerrero ordered his NXT Rookie, Michael McGillicutty, to leave ringside for checking to see if his WWE Pro was all right. Guerrero’s eventual interference allowed Ziggler to gain the advantage over the Intercontinental Champion, leading to a victorious sleeper hold by the bleach blond Superstar.

Ziggler’s Rumble Road
Remember the book Are We There Yet? WWE put out a few years ago where Superstars and Divas shared some of their craziest road stories? Today a brand new book called Rumble Road: Untold Stories from Outside the Ring is hitting bookshelves and it’s like a sequel to Are We There Yet? Only this time, we’ll be getting stories from the man of perfection himself, Dolph Ziggler!
We have to wonder what kind of wacky stories he’ll be sharing. In the very near future, DolphZiggler.Com will have a review up from the book focusing on what Ziggler had to say. And hopefully we’ll have a scan or two of pictures he included with the book too!
To find more information on the book or to order your own copy, head over to WWEShop.
New Name, New Look, Same #1 Source!

As you can see, we’ve recently changed the layouts to our main website and image gallery, now appropriately titled DolphZiggler.Com! Thanks to the very talented Cristy from Daxter-Studios.Com for engineering the design in our new venture. We’re going to be making changes around the website in the next couple of days, so if something doesn’t seem just right, please forgive us; we’re slowly but surely itching our way to perfection, to measure up to the man himself!

Dolph Ziggler aims to be the best
By TIM BAINES – Ottawa Sun
Nick Nemeth wants to be known as the best wrestler of all-time. Better than guys he has idolized since he was a little boy.
And after stepping into his WWE character, Dolph Ziggler, the 29-year-old is taking the necessary steps to getting there, continuing to get better every day.
“I don’t want it to be just a pipedream, I want to be the best,” says Ziggler over the phone. “It’s something that drives me. I don’t want there to be a debate about who’s the best, whether it’s Ric Flair or Shawn Michaels or me. I want to make sure that they talk about Dolph Ziggler being the best wrestler ever.”
Ziggler is throwing everything he has at being successful.
“Today is one of my two off days and I’m watching wrestling DVDs. And while I’m at the gym, I’m thinking about promos,” he says.
The wrestling part came natural enough. He was a star amateur wrestler in high school and at Kent State University. And he started watching pro rasslin’ at an early age.
“When I was four or five, I saw my first event. It was a double main event. The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart) vs. The British Bulldogs (The Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith) and Hulk Hogan vs. Harley Race. I was a big Hulk Hogan fan. Then I moved on to Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels.”
His WWE break came as a member of The Spirit Squad. But he wasn’t thrilled when WWE’s Creative pitched him the idea.
“I was caught a little off guard, almost heartbroken,” he says. “I had trained to be a bad-ass fighter and then they wanted me to be a cheerleader?
“But it gave us the experience, to be in the ring with the best wrestlers. When that was done, it was me going, ‘OK, now I’ve had some time, give me something more along the lines of me being myself.
“The character is mostly me. It’s actually me with the volume turned down a bit.”
Ziggler will step into the ring at WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view on Sunday, knowing that there is a lot at stake, with the winner of his match, also featuring The Big Show, Drew McIntyre, Matt Hardy, Christian, Kofi Kingston, Cody Rhodes, and Kane, getting the briefcase which guarantees a title shot.
And he also knows a bit about ladders, which will be needed to retrieve the briefcase.
“Kane slammed me into a ladder at Wrestlemania and I can tell you, I’ve never felt such pain,” he says.
In a wishlist of dream matches, Ziggler says he hoped to hop into the ring with Michaels again. And then, there’s Triple H.
“He’s the man around here. So you want to see how you hold up in the ring with him.”
Ziggler’s continuing to take the steps on the road to stardom. And wrestling immortality, he hopes.
