WWE 2009 Supplemental Draft analysis

Mark Satrang, of Examiner.Com, wrote up an excellent analysis on the man behind Dolph Ziggler, Nick Nemeth, and his move to the SmackDown brand.

Dolph Ziggler – from RAW to SmackDown – This guy is the definition of a company journeyman. He has been with the company since 2004 and his role as the narcissistic Dolph Ziggler is his third completely separate and unrelated character within the “WWE Universe.” For some reason the company is high on the man named Nick Nemeth as he originally played a golf caddy and is the last surviving member of the ill-fated member of The Spirit Squad. He survived a 30-day Wellness Policy suspension in late 2008 and has come back stronger than ever. This switch to SmackDown looks to be Dolph’s chance at superstardom. In his first appearance on this past week’s SmackDown he got a non-title victory over United States Champion MVP, setting his new push to success into motion.

myNetworkTV.Com Profile

Since making his debut on Raw, this aggressive young Superstar has made certain that every ring warrior on the roster knows his name. For weeks leading up to his first match he would approach Superstars and Divas alike in the locker room area with what has since become a familiar refrain: “Hi, I’m Dolph Ziggler.”

With his slicked-back blond hair, impressive physique and cocksure attitude, Ziggler gives off the aura of an athlete who knows exactly what he’s doing. The young Superstar makes use of his impressive amateur wrestling background (during which he won more matches than anyone in Kent State University’s history) to ensure that for years to come, the WWE Universe will remember the name of Dolph Ziggler.
