On DotCom there is a list of the top 25 matches for the year of 2009. No surprise here that Dolph is at the number 17 and number 10 spots!
#17: Legends of the Fall
After several breathtaking back-and-forth battles, Intercontinental Champion John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler finally settled the score on their heated rivalry once and for all on SmackDown on Nov. 20 from Philadelphia. Fighting through a major rib injury, the always-exciting Morrison heroically rallied back to overcome Ziggler in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match to retain his gold. Despite another impressive effort from his confident challenger, The Guru of Greatness closed the door on another hard-fought battle with Starship Pain.
#10: Almost Famous
Few Superstars have looked as great in defeat as Dolph Ziggler. Throughout 2009, the cock, young Superstar has infatuated with the Intercontinental Championship, on obsession that led him to a rematch with Rey Mysterio at SummerSlam. A month prior, Ziggler had lost to Mysterio at Night of Champions and he was looking for retribution. Poised and ready, the bleached blonde blowhard went at the former World Champion with a sharper knowledge of his opponent, reversing Rey’s offense and even dodging the 619. In the end, Dolph was unable to dethrone the high-flying veteran, but left the ring looking better than over.
Both of Dolph Ziggler’s trading cards have been scanned and added to the gallery for your viewing pleasure. Two things we have to say: it’s about time & they are perfection! He may have been featured on a trading card before, but it was a group shot with the Spirit Squad. Not exactly a shining moment. However, times have changed! Dolph Ziggler is on the rise to the top. All he needs is an action figure and t-shirt!
Also added to the gallery is a scan from the new special edition WWE Magazine: The Year in Photos. A great big magazine full of exclusive pictures from events in 2009, yet only one of Mr. Ziggles! Something’s wrong with that picture, pun intended. Hopefully 2010 we will see pictures of Dolph holding some gold.
John Morrison, R-Truth, Matt Hardy & Finlay def. CM Punk, Luke Gallows, Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler
With a host of rivalries intertwined in one match, the WWE Universe was treated to an action-packed eight-man tag match to kick off the night. After a competitive battle from both sides, it was John Morrison who picked up the win for his team by hitting Starship Pain on Dolph Ziggler. As the No. 1 Contender, John Morrison will take on Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre in a title match next week on SmackDown.
Merry Christmas to all of our RuDolph fans out there! We hope that you’re having a very blessed, and very warm holiday! Do enjoy one of our favorite Ziggler Christmas moments, where Mr. Ziggles beat the sack out of Santa Claas! Also, be sure to check back, as we’ll be treating our visitors to a very special ‘gift’ for all to enjoy!
Tired of those dull holiday cards that don’t really say anything other than, “Happy Holidays!” or “Merry Christmas!”? So are the WWE Superstars! Many of them have their very own greeting card! Many of them including… Dolph Ziggler! He may want us to have a happy holiday, but we want him to guide our sleigh!
Head over to WWE.com to view this card along with all the others!
Back in 2005, Chavo Guerrero emerged as a… well something that involved golf and hideous Bill Cosby looking sweater vests. His name was Kerwin White. At his side was his caddy, Nick Nemeth! Fortunately for everyone involved, including the viewers, this didn’t last long. Below is a WWE.com exclusive video where Kerwin properly introduced us to Mr. Nemeth.

Cryme Tyme def. Dolph Ziggler & Mike Knox
“WWE Superstars” opened with a match-up between SmackDown’s “robbin’ hoods,” JTG & Shad and their opponents, Dolph Ziggler & Mike Knox. Though Ziggler & Knox have both proven themselves to be formidable competitors in singles competition, ultimately it was the experienced tag-team know-how of Cryme Tyme that carried the day, as JTG pinned Big Mike Knox for the win.
