It’s been nearly two months since we’ve seen a Michelle McCool photoshoot published on WWE.com. At last, with SummerSlam upon us, we are graced bikini shoots of the WWE Divas. Maryse and Brie Bella recently had theirs put up, and today we’re getting Michelle’s! Well actually they haven’t announced it yet, but the pictures are out and we’re on it like a hobo on a ham sammich!
Michelle in a bikini will always be a winner. She has one of the best bodies in WWE (Sorry, Morrison!) and boy do we love it when she shows it off! Cut offs, booty shorts, barely there tops and bikinis are favorites. It isn’t because we’re into that sort of thing because we all know Michelle rarely comes across as trashy. She could wear a plastic bag and still manage to look classy. It’s how she rolls!
That all being said, of course we love these pictures! Michelle shows off her washboard abs and killer legs in a sparkly green bikini. It’s like an updated version of her Green With Envy shoot. She ditched the black rimmed glasses and ruler in exchange for a beach ball. It seems to be the token prop with the other girls as well, along with a “surfboard” and “volleyball” pose. Michelle should have been all, “Photographer, please! I got this!” Then brought him outside to the pool, beach or somewhere with some sunlight because the plain background is kinda blah.
Nonetheless, Michelle looks stunning. She’s got the beach body and nobody can deny her genuine smile! She mixes up her poses, keeping them funky, sporty and very much McCool. It takes us back to the All-American days…. good times, good times! Sweet as apple pie or bad to the bone, Michelle can do no wrong when it comes to a bikini!

The Pros are all on stage. LayCool are showing off their Best Friends necklaces. Awww! They are so thoughtful!
Striker reviews the rules for the poll. Halfsies! Half from the fans, half from the Pros. Matt tells the Rookies they’ll have 60 seconds to talk about anything except why they should NOT be eliminated. Mark Henry applauds his Rookie, Lucky Cannon. Michelle does not approve. Lucky’s got nothin’ on Kaval! Kaval decides his topic will be “dreams.” DREAM BIG! He says he had a dream to perform on the greatest stage of them all. He said people told him he couldn’t do it, so he wrestled for 10 years as Low Ki. It isn’t about the size of the fighter, but the size of the fight he brings. LayCool approves! YAY! Alex Riley bullies some of the guys, saying Kaval is just trying out for the part of Morgan Freeman as the voice of God. Don’t be jealous, Riley!
A video for Percy Watson plays.
Michelle: SHOWTIME Percy Watson!
Layla (complete with jazz hands!): Wowwwww! Didn’t his trunks say “Ohhh yeah”?
Michelle: Ohh no!
Maybe it’s a good thing Percy didn’t get paired with LayCool. While Kaval can learn from them, Percy might just complain that he didn’t get a BFF necklace.
A video for Kaval plays! It’s about time he gets one! MVP says he’s impressive. Miz says his in-ring ability is very, very good. Mark Henry says he is the most polished out of all the Rookies. Kofi notes he has a quiet confidence about himself. It seems as though all the Pros think Kaval has “it.” Well.. except for his personality. He needs a larger than life personality and he shouldn’t take himself so seriously. LayCool talk about his frown, Michelle thinks it’ll be his only setback, but they’re going to work on it. Cody Rhodes says what he finds to be the most interesting is who Kaval’s Pros are. Mark Henry says Kaval being with LayCool will be a great learning experience and Miz adds in that they know a lot of little things Kaval doesn’t. Cody says that in a fair world, Kaval would be the next breakout star. What’s he mean by that? Kaval’s going to win, fair and square! LayCool agree that the next breakout star will definitely be Kaval. The fans love him, they love him, he loves them and it’s a win-win situation!
Backstage, LayCool is with Kaval. Why is he not wearing his shirt!? Is he hurt? Is that why he’s frowning? Where is your shirt, Mister! Husky Harris bumps into him, saying sorry “Small Fry” but he didn’t see him, because he isn’t that noticeable. Uh excuse you! Michelle fires back, saying he was noticed enough to get placed number one! Where was Husky placed in the poll? Oh, that’s right, last! Husky says it’s precious how Kaval’s girlfriends are talking for him. Kaval says the only talking he needs to do will be out in the ring. Good, because it’s Kaval vs. Husky up next! Husky says he’s going to have some fun with Kaval, and Kaval says yes, they’re going to have a lot of fun tonight. REAL TALK! SEE YA!
Match time! LayCool are on the apron, pointing out Husky’s thunder thighs. The bell rings, and here we go! Kaval gets in his kicks and brings it to Husky. Who’s talkin’ now? Husky turns things around and starts hammering on Kaval. Michelle and Layla get the crowd into it, cheering and clapping for Kaval. Kaval gets on the turnbuckle, but Husky hits him off and bounces into the ropes, knocking LayCool down. NOOOOO!!! Kaval, being the gentleman that he is, goes to check on his Pros. Husky grabs him and slams him back into the ringpost. He slams Kaval face first back into the ring. He crushes Kaval under him with a big splash and picks up the win. ARE LAYCOOL OKAY?! He needs a wide load sign! The referee goes to check on LayCool who look to be alright. Phew. After the match, Matt Striker comes out and says he hopes LayCool is okay! We do too! A shot of LayCool show them yelling at Husky. “YOU’RE FAT!” screams Layla. Matt tells the Pros to get together because after the break, it’ll be time to reveal the poll.
Back from commercial break, the Pros are shown after having submitted their votes. LayCool looks like they’re still hurting, but they’re tough! They’ll pull through. Any average person who got knocked down by a walrus would still be on the floor, but not LayCool, oh no!
Michael McGillicutty is number one. WHAT!? Kaval is ranked at number two. Oh yeah, LayCool are fully recovered! They jump up, cheering for their Rookie. We love you, Kaval! The bottom two are Eli and Husky. Shocker!! Eli comes in last place. Husky just barely escapes being eliminated again. Maybe next time he won’t be such a jerk.
After taking out nearly all the Rookies and his Pro John Morrison, Eli stomps to the back. For such a big guy, he sure does throw a temper tantrum like a 4 year old. Go shave your mustache.
So another week, another show, another poll! Kaval may not be number one, but that’s okay! The competition isn’t over yet. He’s still got LayCool by his side for support and advice. Judging from his video, all the Pros are impressed with him. If he could just learn to smile a little more, he’d be well on his way to becoming flawless! Maybe next week, Kaval will get his revenge on Husky and pick up another victory. Or even better! Matt should let the Pros get a chance to talk again! We never get tired of hearing LayCool or their Real Talk!

Life in and out of the ring
By ANDREA ASUAJEMichelle McCool is a Diva, but only to the rest of the world.
“My life’s not really completely different,” McCool said.
The 30-year-old Palatka native, known internationally as half of the reigning WWE Women’s Champion team and a WWE Diva, said it’s hard for her to see the celebrity others see in her.
In McCool’s eyes, the important stuff has stuck around: Family, friends, passions and herself.
“I’m still the same person,” she said. “I just happen to be on TV now.”
McCool grew up in Palatka watching the WWE with her father and grandfather — her favorite nights of the week, she said.
“They were the only nights I was allowed to stay up late,” she said.
In school, McCool was always an athlete, participating in volleyball, softball and basketball, she said. Competition was always in her blood, she said.
“It’s in our genes,” she said of competition and the McCools.
She continued to watch the programs as she grew up, taking her interest in the industry with her to Florida State University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in exercise science, and onto her teaching career at Jenkins Middle School.
She got her master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of North Florida the first year she taught 7th grade science at the middle school.
She loved teaching, she said, describing how rewarding it is to reach out to help young people — a trait she still considers important in her new career.
All the while she was still a fan of the WWE.
And then, the competition bug struck.
‘Fish out of water’
McCool said she didn’t tell anyone she was entering the WWE Diva Search. She said she took some “unprofessional” pictures at Ravine State Gardens, and before she knew it, she was on television.
She called herself a “fish out of water” in the competition.
But despite losing the competition, she was declared a Diva.
Since 2004, McCool has participated in Smackdown, RAW and the Women’s Championship.
She’s also made an appearance on “Project Runway,” where a designer created a stage costume especially for her.
She often wears crosses on her uniform, a testament to her Christian beliefs, she said. With a worldwide audience, this is a way for McCool to spread her own religious message to her fans.
“I am a Christian,” she said. “(The WWE) is such a platform to reach out to millions and millions of people. If you can make a difference in one life…”
And she wants her fans to know that despite her sometimes playing a villain or a bad girl, she’s just a regular girl.
“I’m real,” she said. “I’m genuine.”
Life in Texas ‘private’
Putting aside the glittered costumes, the championship belts and the on-stage persona, life is not all glitz for the WWE Championship Diva.
McCool said her days consist of washing laundry, unpacking, repacking and traveling.
She spends more than 300 days a year on the road, she said.
“Most of the time I’m in the airport,” she said. “Not quite as glamorous as it seems.”
She said her life as a Texas resident is quiet and private.
Although she’s recognized on occasion, she leads a typical life, she said. And most of the time, she’s working.
Still, she said she tries to find time to return to Palatka to visit her family, who she said has supported her through her climb to stardom.
“I’ve always had my family,” she said. “They’re my biggest fans.”
And as much as she loves the spotlight and glamour of her job, McCool said that sometimes she dreams of just sitting on the beach, relaxing without a care in the world.
“Doing absolutely nothing all day,” she said.
She may be a TV superstar, but McCool still feels like a hometown girl.
“I still don’t think I’m anybody,” she said. “I’m the same old Michelle McCool.”
Her life: The ring, Project Runway, charity events
The WWE Divas are the female stars of World Wrestling Entertainment. The women wrestle, appear in WWE promotional material and often pose for Playboy, although she hasn’t.
Michelle McCool became a Diva in 2004. In 2008, McCool became the inaugural WWE Divas champion, declared at The Great American Bash. She won the WWE Women’s Championship, along with Layla El, at The Bash in 2009.
McCool also appeared alongside five other Divas in an episode of Project Runway, where the competing designers created outfits for the women to wear while wrestling. She’s also appeared with other WWE Divas and wrestlers on five episodes of Family Feud.
Aside from television appearances, McCool said she and the other Divas participate in charity events, such as Make-a-Wish projects, and reading challenges for children.
Roots run deep in Palatka
Michelle McCool isn’t the first McCool to influence young minds as a teacher and a role model.
Her mother and father, Jenny and Terry McCool, were both involved in the Putnam County school system, with her mother as a teacher and her father as the former superintendent of Putnam County schools.
Athletics also run in the family, with her older brother Jeff McCool as a former football player for the University of Cincinnati and her uncle Jim McCool as the former head football coach of Palatka High School.
Her aunt is also the supervisor of elections for Putnam County.

Short little segment on SmackDown, but it definitely brought on the LOLz! We see Michelle and Layla backstage celebrating the glorious victory from this past PPV, Money in the Bank, where Layla defeated Kelly Kelly to retain the Women’s Championship. The girls are so excited, they decide to their bubbly on! Bottoms up!
Michelle and Layla go on to discuss how good they are for one-another, which Michelle ended up getting Layla a gift – and, wait a minute! So did Layla! Gift Exchange! ZOMG, their enthusiasm is just too much for us! What’d they get?! Michelle got something that says “Be-Fri” while Layla’s says “St-Ends”! The cameras then zooms up as the girls decide to put them together, in which they’re holding “Best Friends” necklace. So cute! Wait a minute; we’re distracted by something rather large and rather sparkly in the camera shot. Woah!! Check it out, Michelle’s wearing… our favorite accessory this week, the bangle!
Enter: Teddy Long. While the girls are going on about how excited they are about their matching necklaces, Teddy goes on to congratulate Layla on her victory for defending her title. Michelle chimes in and reminds him that it’s HER title, too. Teddy warns Layla to enjoy it while it lasts, because next week, she’ll be defending her women’s title – Michelle chimes in once more and says it’s THEIR title – against Tiffany. Skirt Tiffany? Michelle questions… Teddy tells them now that is “Real Talk.” As he walks off, the girls go on about how offended they are that she’d even be considered. Furthermore, how dare Teddy goes ahead and uses their lingo – and not even properly! They mock his “Hollah, Player, and Keep it pushing” and even give us a goofy dance. Oh, how we heart thee. So corny, yet oh, so adorable!
On the fashion front (and boy was this a GREAT week for Michelle), right off the bat we notice Layla wearing one of our favorite dresses to have draped Michelle’s flawless body. As much as we love Layla, Michelle definitely wears it better. Than again, we are a little biased, as Michelle dished out that dress in early 2008 when she reveled her “GaGa” bangs. Ah, the memories. But enough about Layla, can we get to Michelle? SHE FREAKIN’ KILLED IT! While she does have on the jeans that have been passed around the locker room more times than (enter your least favorite Diva’s name here), she still wears them well – and better than Maria or Nikki Bella ever did! Michelle’s hair was fiiiiiiiierce! Love, love, love! It’s about time she changed up her golden locks. As for her pleather jacket displaying her envious abs? A very nice touch! We’re absolutely hoping she got a photo shoot out of this outfit, sure would hate for all of that fabulous fabooshness to go to waste!
Remember our little warning to Barbie a few month back when it was announced that Michelle will be apart of the fall 2010 Mattel/WWE lineup? Well, truer words have never been spoken written! Thanks to ToyNewsI.Com, we’ve got our first look of Michelle’s new action figure, and we love how flawless the First Lady of SmackDown looks! Fierce curly hair? Check! Stunning figure? Oh, yes — check! Our second favorite wrestling attire (behind the black sequins) – badabing, that’s a check! We’re pretty excited about adding this to our growing collection of Michelle McCool memorabilia. Someday, we’ll become millionaires at the estimated net worth Allen Greenspan has quoted the McCruel stock. Just go with us here.
Okay, so maybe there are a couple of imperfections on Ms. Flawless in the form of plastic, but it’s still looking pretty darn good for Michelle’s second figure. Leaps and bounds ahead of her first figure, the Lilian Garcia look-a-like, that’s for sure. Again, her face is just a little off, and her thighs sorta look like they were borrowed from Randy Orton’s figure collection, BUT, she’s once again immortalized and it’s pretty darn hard to duplicate perfection in the flesh.
Sorry, Dolph!
We’re looking forward to having our own little dream match of Michelle McCool & Dolph Ziggler taking on Barbie & Ken. No holds barred, pink corvette and dream house on the line. Oh yeah, someone’s getting their asses handed to them!
The show kicks off with Matt Striker goes through the obstacle course first before the arena ever even fills up. Polls open TODAY at noon Eastern time, 11 Central. Don’t forget to vote for Kaval!
Striker’s time? 41.5! I’m not sure if that’s good bad. The Rookies are doing the course first, so we shall see if he’s up to standards!
Oh just kidding, Cole’s a big fat liar. MVP’s VIP Lounge kicks off the show first. Can LayCool be his guests?! Or Percy. Hmpfh. One of these days, I’m telling you. LayCool is either going to be on a talk show or they’re going to host their own! And yes, it will be called, “REAL TALK!”
Percy and MVP make up, then Matt Striker comes out. He says that next week there will be an elimination and MVP should say why Percy should be number one in the poll. Psht, not as long as Kaval is around! Percy will just have to settle for number two. Striker cuts Percy off, Cody Rhodes come out and it’s their turn to say why Husky Harris should be number one.
…Striker announces a match. Uh, LayCool better get a turn! And what happened to the obstacle course Cole was yammering about being next?
A Rookie video for Lucky Cannon plays. Layla says, “He’s gotta a good look.” Michelle agrees, “He does have a good look and he has the World’s Strongest Man trainin’ him.” There ya go, the truth, I mean, what LayCool thinks of Lucky.
The Pros are now out to watch the action! LayCool are all dolled up in their retro outfits! Cole tries to redeem himself by saying LayCool and The Miz are sitting next to each other and they are three of the greatest Pros of all time. Nope, didn’t work.
Another Rookie video for Michael McGillicutty. Michelle tells us, “He’s as close to perfect as it gets!” Layla also agrees, “He sure is!” Then Michelle adds, “But he’s not Flawless.” “No way!”
Matt Striker finally asks LayCool and Kaval why he should be number one. It’s about time! Michelle says there are plenty of reasons. She and Layla take turns saying he has passion, heart, skills, smarts and best of all, he has LayCool, and that means he’s almost Flawless! Kaval says he has the confidence to go up against the greats like Evan Bourne, Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio. He has the ability but we have the power to make it happen. Cole says that was horrible. Yeah, well, your face is horrible, SHUT IT. Nobody asked you.
It’s finally time for the obstacle course! The Rookie who completes it the fastest has immunity next week. Kaval is up! He’s the only person who does the push ups right. The big heavy rolly cart thing stops him up though and he doesn’t manage to beat the top time of 26.7. LayCool are still cheering him on though! He did good!! “That was so good!” Michael McGillicutty wins the challenge. Michelle starts trash talking him a little bit! Ohhhh!! Layla joins in, and then the show ends. Why’d they have to cut it off on the good part?!
Don’t forget to head over to WWE.com today to cast your vote for NXT Rookie Kaval! Let’s keep him in the competition, keep him at number one and continue to see LayCool grace our television screens every Tuesday night!
