The Match. The tag match was a pleasant surprise. Considering we’ve seen this particular match how many times before, it wasn’t like anybody’s expectations were very high. Oh how we love to be proven wrong! Even though the match was a bit shorter than usual, all four ladies showed what they were made of. Michelle and Melina brought so much intensity! Michelle delivered some nasty looking kicks to the heads of Melina and Eve. Nice to see she puts those legs to good use! Unfortunately Michelle and Layla found themselves on the losing side, but that’s okay. Every dog has her day. Besides, Michelle’s still the champion. Melina can win all the tag matches in the world and cry afterwards like she’s won Ms. America, but that doesn’t make her the Women’s Champion. This match was short, sweet and added more fuel to the fire.
The Storyline. YES!!! It looks like the Michelle-Melina feud is going to continue! They still have unfinished business and we couldn’t be happier! As each match comes and goes, they give us something even better than before. Hopefully in the coming weeks we’ll get to see more backstage interactions that show their personalities out of the ring. Maybe we could even get some in-ring promos followed up by a sneak attack! Ooh, and what would make that sneak attack better? If a steel chair was used! Why’s that? Because then it’d be yet another reason as to why these ladies need to have some sort of title match with a stipulation on it. Michelle and Melina are only going to get more and more vicious. Why not let them use objects other than their own body parts or the ring/barricade? If there are any divas on the roster right now who could pull off a match like that, the two of them are top contenders.
The Fashion. As good as gold looks on Michelle, her silver attire looked great too. At first all of the crosses were a turn off, but they’re starting to grow on us. She wears them proudly and confidently. That makes it hot! Michelle could rock a Wal*Mart sack, and as long as she felt sexy in it? She’d look the same way! Her hair and make up were kept simple. Pretty average week fashion wise. Hopefully as her hair starts to grow out more, she’ll do different hairstyles with it. Maybe a sleek pony or really tight ringlets. Oh and should we get some backstage action? Let’s hope Michelle’s been shopping and will show off her new threads. Nobody rocks a pair of jeans like she does!

Fine, if dotcom doesn’t want to give us a champion shoot of Michelle, or any shoot for that matter, then we’ll just post one of our own! Katie has sent in 15 – count ‘em, fifteen – pictures of Michelle from her trip to Japan with Triple H!
Just because the outfit is the same one from a shoot that was released on dotcom doesn’t mean these pictures are bad! Actually, these are even better than the ones we got a little while back. For quite some time, Michelle’s been showing an edgier side in her pictures. She doesn’t smile too often or go for the cute poses. She turned it around for these photos though! The poses have subtle changes and even a little hint of flirty showing too! The hair is a simple pony, but that works for Michelle. Her make up is natural and fresh. And how we love that gorgeous smile! It’s nice to see our All-American Girl is still there underneath that bad girl exterior.

The Match: There’s no denying it, Melina is a master at story telling within the ring! Michelle McCool, the WWE Women’s Champion, comes out first followed by Melina. Michelle McCool kicks Melina off the apron on her split entrance. The referee calls for the bell and we’re underway. Melina takes down McCool in the ring. Arm drag take down by Melina on McCool. Melina works on McCool in the corner. Melina hits a dropkick on Michelle. Melina knocks McCool down to the mat. She ends up running through the ropes and falling to the outside. McCool hits a running knee on Melina into the security wall on the outside. McCool gets a two count in the ring on Melina. McCool works the leg of Melina in the ring with a half Boston Crab in the ring. McCool wrenches back in the half Boston Crab in the ring. McCool pushes Melina off the apron to the outside. McCool runs into the security wall. Melina works with McCool on the barricade. Michelle McCool hits a DDT on Melina and gets back in the ring. Melina counters when she gets back to the ring by getting out of the way of McCool. Melina takes McCool down then goes off the apron onto the Champion. Melina puts her back in the ring but McCool delivers a boot to her face. Melina takes McCool down and hits two knees to her back. Melina backs McCool down into the corner. Melina stomps the midsection of McCool with her laid out across the ropes. Heel kick by Melina followed by a two count. McCool hits a belly-to-belly take down on Melina. Melina hits a chopping heel on McCool but McCool counters and steals the win out of nowhere retaining her championship.
The Storyline: While Michelle McCool may have finished off Melina once and for all, we don’t believe this will be the last bout between the two. With Eve Torres quickly making her way up the totem pole on SmackDown, it looks as though Michelle may have a score to settle and put out this “flash in the pan” out just as well. It should be interesting to see which path of destruction Michelle will take. Word has it, new WWE Divas Champion, Mickie James had a post-match promo after her victorious win, and she wasn’t exactly looking to make friends with Michelle McCool. Mickie called Michelle out, saying how she dare disrespect the Women, former champions, who have paved the way before her. Michelle caught wind of Mickie’s words, and during her live WWE.Com chat, Michelle had said she doesn’t mind the noise Mickie is creating – she can beat her, just like that. Is there a feud brewing between these two Champions? Only time shall tell. But, hey, Mickie… Michelle’s been there, done that. Second best doesn’t cut it. Remember who was first.
The Fashion: “Kiss Me – I’m Irish!” Green is such a wonderful color on the WWE Women’s Champion, who knew? Perhaps it’s because most of us are green with envy, that it especially compliments Michelle’s features; a great contrast to her bronze skin and golden hair. As noted earlier, Michelle McCool has a tradition of her own: for every PPV she appears on, she’s going to debut new ring attire. Her green number is by far our favorite in recent months. At first, it had taken some adjusting for us to get used to the plethora of crosses that surround Michelle’s body, and while we still think she could lose a couple, we do like it. Michelle’s hair and make up was nothing short of ferocious! Dark, heavy eyes with a wavy golden mane, she looked fabulous! The Champion of champions, the First Lady of SmackDown, she worked it, and best of all, she looked… you guessed it, fierce!

MichelleMcCool.Net is your number one source for information about WWE Diva, Michelle McCool that you won't find anywhere else! Here's a little sample of our latest exclusive interview with Michelle, in honor of our 6th Anniversary:
Have you had any injuries/accidents or moments in the ring that have ever made you think you can’t do it anymore? What kept you going?
"Passion keeps you going! It's no secret that the majority of the Superstars and Divas work injured, me included. I had the injury bug start biting pretty good this past year. The bulged disks in my neck were incredibly painful, but just as scary! My foot still isn't healed, which is really frustrating an impatient person. But, it comes with the territory and to answer the question: you just keep on keeping on!"
