Breakin’ Down SmackDown – Results & Media

The Match: Michelle wasn’t in it, that’s all you need to know. Just kidding… Umm, Maria did some crappy clotheslines and a dropkick? Okay, okay, Michelle was on commentary and had some nice little one liners. She even agreed with nearly the entire world in that Maria’s outfits and athleticism are less to be desired. Halfway through the match Melina decided she would shove the Women’s Champion. How rude! But as Michelle said herself, she’ll pay for that.

The Storyline: Even though they’ve had two title matches, one of them being Melina’s rematch, it appears as though the Michelle and Melina feud is going to continue. Works for us! Their matches are fun, exciting and always bring something new to the table. However, Michelle did say she’s “been there, beaten that,” in reference to another title match. Who knows, maybe the other girls will have a big number one contender’s match. Though honestly, we’re hoping for another Michelle-Melina showdown; bonus points if there’s a stipulation added. Hardcore street fight? Yes please!

The Fashion: Michelle’s attire on SmackDown: wow, where to begin? When spoiler candids first surfaced, all that we saw was an outfit that was nothing but fierce and fabulous! We were so proud of Michelle’s return attire, hair and make up; MiMi McFabulous had made a statement through the art of fashion… then, the truth came out. All we see now? MAJOR FLOP. We’ll begin to explain. We’ve always been one to praise Michelle for her fashion sense, style, and unique ability to transition gaudy WWE attire into high fashion fabulocity! With this number, Michelle commits one of her most notorious fashion faux pas: this number has been passed around the locker more times than “(insert your least favorite Diva’s name here)”! From Nikki Bella, Mariato Brooke Hogan?

Naturally, we were shocked to learn that not only had the top been worn by Maria in a recent episode of SmackDown, but the complete outfit belongs to Nikki Bella – from her every day wear! (Collective gasp, I know!) Now, there’s nothing wrong with swapping tops and outfits with your gal pals, it happens all the time, especially with the WWE Divas – however, Michelle McCool: We expected more – even better – from of you! We’re so insulted that Michelle has duped her fashion fans. What a let down for us, how embarrassing for her. Or maybe we’re just overreacting.

Sarah Jessica Parker made this mistake when she wore the now infamous Nina Ricci gown to the NYC premiere of Sex and The City, after Lindsay Lohan wore the gown in an advertising campaign for Disney. Ouch.

The next time Michelle McCool picks out a wardrobe for television, she better believe we’ve got our eyes open. Has it been worn once… twice… or in this case, thrice? Keep in mind, we still heart us some Michelle McCool, but we’re entitled to our honest opinions just like you. We would have taken another week of Michelle off television if it meant for her own, original ensemble!

There’s always next week, champ!
