Ask anyone that is apart of Michelle McCool’s legion of “Faithful Followers” what they’re up to, and they’ll proudly tell you that we’re celebrating the First Lady of SmackDown’s 5th Anniversary with World Wrestling Entertainment – with the Lady herself! On November 18, 2004, Michelle McCool made her pro-wrestling debut on the blue brand, WWE SmackDown, which she has since called home. A staple for Team Blue, Michelle shows no signs of slowing down an already storybook career filled with blood, sweat and tears, and yes, faith, heart and soul. WWE Women’s Champion, Michelle McCool, has granted MichelleMcCool.Net yet another exclusive interview to shine light on questions that hadn’t been asked before. In this feature, we’re asking “5 Questions for 5 Years.”

You were given a great opportunity with the Diva Search. It ultimately led you down a path of success and championships. However, it’s also made some people say you’re undeserving of where you are today and that you haven’t “paid your dues” because you didn’t work your way up through the Indy promotions. Now that you’re still kicking butt and have shown an impressive amount of improvement and desire/passion, do you think you’ve proven the naysayers wrong? Have you “paid your dues” so to speak?

I think that’s always going to be a stigma that I, along with many others, will have to face. Whether you came through the diva search, tough enough, your family was in the business before you or someone just “discovered” you, there will always be naysayers. With that being said, I do believe I paid some dues. When you are a part of DSW, believe me, you pay dues. Things have changed dramatically in the short 5 years that I have been here. For the first couple years, I was on the road training and doing shows and then going back to DSW training and doing shows. I’m not exactly sure what someone’s definition of “paying your dues” are, but if it includes busting your butt day in and day out, never giving up, turning negatives into positive, picking brains to learn the art, being frustrated to the point of tears, etc…. then yes, I’ve paid SOME dues and there is nothing I would change about any of it.

Tonight on SmackDown, Mickie James had defeated Layla in a singles bout. Next week, they’ll be on opposing teams once more, as Team Mickie faces Team McCool in a traditional Survivor Series Elimination match on Survivor Series this Sunday, LIVE on PPV. Nothing new, nothing to write home about. It was the aftermath that really caught the WWE Universe’s attention and nearly put the Diva Fan Forums across the globe in a tizzy fit! Oh, snaps! What went down!

After Layla accepted defeat, she grabbed the microphone and made sure that Mickie James would cut her celebration short, and bring her undivided attention to the WWE tron. Michelle McCool, baring pig tails and a plaid midriff top, appeared with her rendition of the old children’s song about a farmer named MacDonald, scratch that, McCool.

“Michelle McCool had a farm, E-I-E-I-O! And on this farm she had a pig – Piggy James!!!!” So, Michelle McCool and her sidekick, Layla, had a little fun at the expense of Mickie James, and we nearly died gasping for air. Perhaps Mickie is a bit more, dare we say, “porkier” than some of her fellow WWE Divas, and Michelle, INC. is just stating the obvious. Oh, well, sometimes the truth hurts, right? Toss in a couple of snouts on Piggy’s mug, thanks to some poor Photoshop skills, and you’ve got yourself a segment that was made to be remembered! And that’s when the PIG SH!T hit the fan!

Some may say it was juvenile, crude, crass and just plain insulting to both Mickie James and the WWE Universe (hey, we’re just going off of the rants we’ve seen), but we say (as we look to the lighter side), Michelle can carry a tune AND make us laugh! Our baby girl is destined to become a Broadway Star! From Lady GaGa to Judy Garland! Okay, so maybe not. But, Michelle’s segment was pretty darn hilarious, if we do say so without a biased opinion. Perhaps it’s not Michelle’s proudest moment, but it sure ranks up there as one of her more hilarious antics, right up there with Dolph Ziggler’s bon bons! And it’s all for the sake of being the “Mean Girls” in this new feud, which we’re enjoying!

Keep in mind, Michelle’s been called everything from Michelle McLoser to Michelle McDrool, so we don’t mind the name calling. We’ve all heard the saying; “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me!” So, what do you think, did you find this segment entertaining, or was it as offensive as some say? Sound off in comments – we will!

MichelleMcCool.Net is your number one source for information about WWE Diva, Michelle McCool that you won't find anywhere else! Here's a little sample of our latest exclusive interview with Michelle, in honor of our 6th Anniversary:

Have you had any injuries/accidents or moments in the ring that have ever made you think you can’t do it anymore? What kept you going?
"Passion keeps you going! It's no secret that the majority of the Superstars and Divas work injured, me included. I had the injury bug start biting pretty good this past year. The bulged disks in my neck were incredibly painful, but just as scary! My foot still isn't healed, which is really frustrating an impatient person. But, it comes with the territory and to answer the question: you just keep on keeping on!"
