On SmackDown this past Friday, Mickie James weaseled herself into a Number One contender’s spot. Sure, a win is a win.. but c’mon! She’s supposed to be the big, bad diva. We didn’t think she’d steal the win from Beth Phoenix. Oh well. Every pig has her day.
Sitting ringside was Women’s Champion Michelle McCool and her BFF, Layla! Seems like they wanted front row seats to see who would be Michelle’s next challenger: Piggy, Beth Phoenix or Natalya. Michelle’s destroyed black jeans were okay, but the real highlight of her outfit (aside from her championship!) was her Piggie James tank top! Where can we get one?! Maybe this week they’ll wear pig noses! Oink oink!
After the match Mickie had a few choice words for Michelle. Apparently she’s going to shut Michelle’s mouth permanently. Really, Mickie? That’s highly unlikely. Besides if all Michelle did was “talk” then Mickie wouldn’t be lacking a set of ring gear. Mickie then said that Michelle needed to remove Layla from her butt. Just like permanently shutting Michelle’s mouth, that’s anatomically impossible Mickie! Did you not take Anatomy and Physiology in school?? To rub salt into the wounds, Maria made her return. Darn it! (There is an upside to this however. No body gets off the Hot Mess train when Maria is around. She’s the conductor of that choo-choo!)
Bottom line is this: At some point, Mickie will get a shot at the Women’s Championship. Hopefully it’ll be at the upcoming TLC PPV. To make the pot a little richer, we think a Title vs. Career match would be super! Michelle’s been saying that Mickie needs to pack her bags and leave. There would be nothing sweeter than Michelle being the reason that Mickie’s no longer a WWE diva.
Oh and one more thing, if Mickie isn’t going to quit, and Maria is already back from her broken heart, then Michelle and Layla? TRY HARDER!!! We hear there are some interesting photos of Mickie out there.
