Breakin’ Down Smackdown!

This week’s Smackdown was quite possibly the best one throughout the ongoing Piggie James saga. It was the icing on the cake, if you will. The Simply Flawless BFFs were in the middle of the ring decorated with balloons and a table full of yummy treats! They even busted out the red carpet for this event. It’s a universal truth with WWE when there is food, there will be a mess.

Before we get to the mess, here’s what went down. Michelle had to give us some news, good and bad. The bad news was at the Royal Rumble, she was supposed to face Mickie James. The good news was that Mickie left Smackdown for good! Before we could get too far into the celebration, the underfed red head felt the need to rudely invite herself to the party. One would think maybe Maria smelled the food, knew Mickie wasn’t anywhere to be found, and decided to get herself some chow. Negative! Maria used elementary school insults towards Lay-Cool. She called them morons. Before a fight could break out, ’cause we all know girlfriend wasn’t about to get away with that, Mickie James appeared!

She ran her mouth and called the audience fat. Okay, not really! But she did say that every woman has their own shape; fat, skinny, tall, short, curvy, etc. She said that she pities Michelle and Layla. Why? We don’t know. Anyway, Mickie informed us that she would be at the Royal Rumble and that it was her turn to embarrass Michelle. She also took a cheap shot at Michelle’s appearance on Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader. It’s easy to talk when you haven’t been on the show yourself, Piggie! After telling Lay-Cool she was going to teach them some manners, Layla jumped in and got a swift punch to the face. Cat fight! Cat fight!

Insert the wild card, Beth Phoenix, here. She ran to the ring, stiletto in hand, then stopped as though she was wondering who should feel her wrath. She made the right choice and helped Lay-Cool take down Maria and Mickie. While Beth and Layla held Mickie down, Michelle announced it was feeding time. SUUUUUUEEEEEYYYY!!! Splat went the pig cake, right in Mickie’s face! It was a really cute pig, and it must have been pretty tasty because Michelle ate a little bit too. After all that cake, Michelle gave Mickie a drink with some punch! Darn it, Mickie was wearing white, as was Michelle. Never fear because Michelle’s pants were unharmed, at least not as bad as Mickie’s top. Lay-Cool and Beth left Mickie in a puddle of cake, punch and her own tears. Awww.

There’s still one week left before the Rumble. Can Mickie get in a little revenge? Or will she get humiliated once again? Dun dun dunnn!! There’s always the question mark that is Beth. We never really know what she’s going to do next or who she’s going to beat up. It’s a shame she won’t be in the match at the Rumble. Then again, there’s still time for her to be added. Guess we’ll just have to wait until next Friday to found out what’s going to happen next!
