As we know, Kelly Kelly was the first of the WWE talent to have kicked off the 2010 WWE Draft during RAW this past Monday. After LayCool had defeated the RAW team of Eve and Maryse, it was Kelly Kelly who had shed the red for the royal blue (not literally, but you get the point). I have to say: I’m pretty excited about Kelly having been added to the SmackDown women’s division. As I’ve mentioned in our “Draft Special,” Kelly is extremely popular. The fans really take to her, she’s someone the majority really cares about. Oh, let the blood bath begin! Once Michelle get’s her little Palatka palms on her, she is going to generate a lot of heat, which in turn, will make her out to be a greater heel. Clearly, Kelly is quite looker (I personally find her gorgeous) but add to that, she’s also athletic. She’s got all of the potential to become one of WWE’s poster girls for the Women’s Division, and being on SmackDown with the likes of Michelle and Beth Phoenix can only benefit her more in the long run. Speaking of Beth, I expect Kelly to fill the void of Beth’s trusted confidant. Please, oh please, let Kelly’s arrival mean less time for Tiffany. Please! Speaking of voids, I also think that this is a smart move by WWE in sending Kelly on over to SmackDown. After they had unceremoniously released Mickie James, who was by far their most popular Diva, Kelly Kelly should fill that void just fine. I’m pretty excited to see how Michelle, Inc. should respond to their latest addition, as once upon a time ago, Michelle and Kelly had often teamed with one another, which often reminded me of a “Big sister, little sister” role. Oh, well. Kelly Kelly, welcome to SmackDown, I’m sure LayCool has plenty in store to make you feel welcomed and right at home.

With the 2010 Supplemental WWE Draft, team blue finds Rosa Mendes at their door step. I’m not exactly sure what to think with Rosa having been sent over. I assume that she’ll take on the role of “girlfriend” with one of the WWE Superstars (better not be Ziggler!), and if not, perhaps a character change; I’d like to see Rosa change her hair back to black, or possibly even red. With Kelly and Rosa heading on over, that leaves Layla and Vickie Guerrero as the only ladies without Barbie locks. Is this team blue or team blonde? Speaking of blonde, perhaps Rosa could start a feud with Tiffany (which unfortunately means, well… more Tiffany), as I really don’t see much room for her in Simply Flawless. But, then again, what do I know? LayCool could take her under their wing and groom her as the fourth wheel. That way, we have an even ratio of heels and babyfaces, standing at 3-3, excluding Vickie Guerreo. On the up and up, Rosa does seem to have some untapped potential, and I think that she’ll also benefit by being on SmackDown. Hopefully, she’ll learn real quickly in that there’s only one reigning First Lady of SmackDown, Michelle McCool, and there’s only one Diva suited to accompany such excellence, Layla. Then again, a feud within a feud may not be a bad idea. Rosa and Layla vying for Michelle’s attention? I say: bring it on! Move over Gretchen Weiners, there’s a new bestie in town.

Michelle is more often criticized than praised for her wrestling ability due to being a former Diva Search contestant, a.k.a. “Diva Search Reject” or whom she’s with. Let’s get something straight here. The Diva Search competition was over four freaking years ago and since then, she has been working her tail off to improve day in and day out that she’s she belongs there. She was crowned the first-ever Divas Champion for crying out loud. WWE wouldn’t have chosen Michelle to be the first champion if they didn’t believe that she was ready to take on the challenge. Enough said.

No matter how much we try to prove that Michelle is a definition of a true WWE Diva, at the end of the day, she’lll have her critiques, but most importantly, she’ll always have her “McFans”! I’m proud to be a Michelle McCool fan!

From Michelle McCool to Michelle Pfeiffer.

In the 1983 classic, Scarface, Elvira Hancock is a cold and an aloof character portrayed by Pfeiffer with an attitude and a style all of her own. Like McCool on SmackDown!, both blonde beauties are the object of lust along with admiration from their peers and audience. However, both ladies know exactly what they want, and aren’t afraid to achieve their own desires at any cost.

Michelle McCool has been known to rid of her blonde hair extensions and take a more natural look from time to time, but for those who admire accurate facts, we haven’t seen Michelle ‘rock’ her own hair since the January 25, 2008 edition of SmackDown! – yes, over a year!

So here’s our bid of confidence to our diminished American Sweetheart, Michelle McCool: banish the long hair extensions that every other WWE Diva tends to wear, and make an entrance with your own lovely locks! We’d prefer for you to style after Elvira Hancock in Scarface; short strawberry blonde hair with bangs, with just enough volume. Change is good, change is welcomed!

With this hairstyle, Michelle McCurel would certainly be the Mane Event!

Now, if you look closer to the ‘On The Cover’ credits, the fashion director for this Ashley Tisdale photo shoot reveals none other than, drum roll please… Michelle McCool! I Know! Amazing! Tremendous! What are the chances? Slim-to-none, don’t get your hopes up! While the economy may be suffering, it’s a sure bet that your favorite WWE Diva (scratch that, THE BEST DIVA IN WWE), didn’t pick up another job just to make ends meet. But what a coincidence no less! Turns out, Cosmo has their very own Michelle McCool who is their fashion director. So what does that mean? It means she gets to see designers’ collections before anyone else. She plays dress up with the stars, in a nut shell.

How McCool would it be if WWE’s Double M were to work with Cosmos M squared? That screams cover and featured interview by both respective magazines, if you ask me! Oh, you didn’t? Whatever.

But, for all things to come full circle, in an ironic twist of fashion fate… Ashley Tisdale and Michelle McCool did wear the same bikini. Tisdale on the set of “High School Musical” and McCool for the “Summer Skin” shoot. And now, the age old question: Who Wore It Better?

It was unfortunate that Michelle was left off of SmackDown’s 500th episode, as she has become the Blue Brand’s most predominant Diva in the show’s history. Being a little biased, you think? Perhaps (we are her fansite), but let us explain:

Michelle has displayed the evolution of a true WWE Diva right before our eyes. Ever since her first appearance and up until her most recent, SmackDown viewers have witnessed the growth of Palatka’s Pride – in, out and all around the SmackDown ring. From catfights, bikini contests, ‘Star on a Pole,’ to championship bouts, Michelle has been proven that SmackDown is her stomping ground, and she can do it all. She especially covers the dire essentials: All-around wrestler and Eye Candy darling. She’s the complete and total package. She’s already left her mark – on her territory!

Many before her have tried, paved the way, and have come close, but just couldn’t quite make it to her current status. That isn’t a knock at SmackDown’s past Divas, but an honest observation. SmackDown Divas of today are now following suit, perhaps looking to McCool as “the ring leader” and an example to aspire to.

Prior to WWE, there was neither modeling experience nor acting experience: just pure heart, faith, soul… and a dream.

Granted, there is still far more Michelle will have to learn and to achieve in order to become the admirable Diva in her critics eyes, but she’s off to a wonderful start.

From being voted as the SmackDown’s Top Diva to becoming the blue brands inaugural Divas Champion, we salute Michelle McCool for her dedication, and most importantly, her contribution to the SmackDown brand. 500 episodes or not, we appreciate her every time she steps in and out of that ring.

Last night, GaGa made the debut of a new hairstyle on a UK talk show, hosted by Jonathan Ross. At our fan forum, we’ve often had heated discussions and even life-threatening debates (no, not really) about Michelle’s hair (yes, seriously), but it just goes to show that we love ourselves some Michelle McCool… head to toe quite literally!

With GaGa’s latest mane event, we figure it’s just beyond perfect for McCool! Michelle will not only to update her style, but she gets to keep the bangs, too! When it comes to fashion, we like a little bit of psychotic with an edge of dramatic!

So what do you think? Are you ready for Michelle to drop the blonde locks while placing headlocks? Should she be inspired by GaGa’s latest masterpiece? We’re not asking for flamboyant bows or metallic space gear… that’d be wishful thinking!

“I’m happy to welcome Melina and Candice to Smackdown. Hopefully I’ll be able to personally welcome each of them. As for Candice, whatever. I mean, didn’t she tell us she got drafted to Raw because she was too hot for network TV? I’m just saying…what happened? Not so hot anymore? Is her hotness gone? Either way, two words….fresh meat!”

Oh, snaps! Fresh meat? Surely Candice Michelle should have recognized the fact that Michelle doesn’t even consider her to be in the same league. Maybe she didn’t get the memo (or is just looking for an outlet to stay ‘current’ with the WWE Fans). But, the gloves are now off, as Candice shot back, acknowledging Michelle’s comments:

“I am sure that some will underestimate me, not mentioning any names…Michelle McCool…but its only to my advantage! It was so sweet of her to mention me in her blog it only shows that she has a bit of jealousy for me, it was kind of flattering! So, Thank-You! hehe… I feel welcome already and I haven’t even been there yet! :)”

Looks like we’ve got a live one here! The ball is now in McCool’s court, and I’m sure she’s got a few choice words of her own… that is, if she does choose to reply. You aren’t going to let some REAL Diva Search reject talk to you like that, now are you Michelle? I mean, Candice didn’t even make it as a Diva Search finalist. Who cares if she’s the first of that breed to hold gold. You’re the first Divas Champion! The soon-to-be first Double Champion! Mind your fans, you’re also The First Lady of SmackDown! Your fans won’t stand for this trash talk, and neither should you!

Okay, so maybe we like to stir the pot a little. But who doesn’t love a good “she said, she said” war that is sure to get… dare we say, ugly! Team McCool, FTW!

Dressed in timid blue, Michelle McCool strikes various poses in a number that resembles Fendi couture. Mind you, this isn’t your Grandmother’s traditional a-line skirt we’re talking here; McCool is just as courageous when it comes to her sense of fashion, as she is stepping inside that famous squared circle. I dare say she definitely has the most fashion forward dress of all the Divas we’ve seen in WWE.Com‘s latest exclusive. The wave petals add a definitive feminine spark to McCool’s Tomboy image, which one can always appreciate when taken into consideration. Pulled off with her nude open-toe ankle strap stilettos (check out the latest Michael Kors collection if you’re interested), and touch of gold with her accessories, it does add a wonderful touch: a winning combination for the Spring-Summer season!

As far as the “What Was She Thinking” portion: Gone are the days I’d envy Michelle McCool’s hair. Even as she changes it up a bit with the curls, I can’t say that I’m aesthetically pleased with the outcome. Yes, I’ve always been an advocate for Michelle McCool’s bangs, but even then, the length has got to go! Had Michelle gone with a much shorter, and even sleek-silk look… this would have been her most successful photoshoot (in my opinion, of course)! The bigger, the better wasn’t quite the case here. The best way to pull off large candy curls is to have fierce make-up.

Which brings me to our last stop. McCool’s delicate, pure and wholesome look does succeed with her dress, however, the first-ever Divas Champion and future Women’s Champion, seems to be a bit torn by the roots of her hair. Her color palette, which looks a lot like Estee Lauder, remains neutral while going a bit heavy on the eyes, light on the lips with gloss. Unless she was modeling for Prada, and was about ten pale shades lighter, perhaps we would have a particular future candidate for ‘Top Model’ on our hands. Michelle’s no waif, and while the make-up suits her well, to me, it’s not a good contrast to the mane event hair-don’t. She misses it, but by a hair! (Har, har.)

The props did add for ‘fun’ in the photos, and McCool did make good use of them, however, I’m a take em or leave em kinda fan; butterflies and bubbles over Chanel or Prada? Just as long as you work it! I believe this shoot could have been more chic, less cutesy. And hey, there’s nothing wrong with cute, but you get that with nearly every McCool photoshoot.

It’s time to come out of the safe house, honey! Make an impact, flash, boom, pow – we want our furious fashionista!

Final Grade: B- Much too feminine not enough fierce!
