For the second week in a row, Michelle McCool joined the commentating team of Michael Cole, Josh Matthews, and Booker T at ringside. Us Faithful Followers were treated to not only the presence of Lady McCruel herself, but we got yet another peek at her keen fashion sense. BTW, WE LOVE THE BOOTS.. err, boot! Can I just say? I love the more edgy look. Side parts, cropped tops, and hot pants? I hardly noticed the handicap-able (NOW BEDAZZLED!!) walking boot. FLAWLESS! Too bad we’re regulated to three minutes face time and no televised entrance. Or else it would be called the “Girrrrl You Betta Work”.. boot!

Inside the ring, singles action between Layla and Rossssssssssa (roll the tongue) was already well under way. Rosa picked up a quick victory, an easy win, following the interference of Michelle. The match itself, if you can call it that, was anything but interesting. Thankfully, the First Lady of SmackDown was on hand and did us all a favor! Let’s be honest, the WWE Universe doesn’t pay to watch the many transformations of Rosa Mendes. On an unrelated note: MARYSE WANTS HER HAIR BACK! Anyway, let’s get to the real story here.

Back inside the ring, LayCool continued to show signs of their dysfunction. Michelle reminded Layla that without her, she would be nothing. Maybe not in so many words, but she did imply a sense of frustration with having to take care of Layla’s business. Pause.. cue Michelle hair flip! The segment ended with Michelle displaying hesitation to leave with Layla. It’s clear who wears the pants when it comes to Team LayCool! Despite the short exchange of words, the two left as a unit. Layla showing all the classic signs of battered woman syndrome-she just can’t be without her!

In closing, I really like the direction they’re heading in. Though in my heart of hearts, I would like to see them stay together. It’s obvious that a break-up is imminent. To be honest, they’re a hot mess these days. Creative is really slow moving, as they should be, with a split-but handling it nicely. Rumors are indicating a possible tag much for WrestleMania this year. If I was a betting man (which I am!), Look for Team LayCool vs. Trish Stratus and Kelly Kelly to take place on the grandest stage of them all. I think then, and only then, will the final blow hit the already shaky foundation of Layla and Michelle. Only time will tell!

The Famous and Flawless team of LayCool took on the funky and fit (hey, the girl’s been bustin’ her butt for a while now!) Smelly Kelly and Rrrrrrrrosa. Before the match kicked off, Michelle and Layla decided to give Kelly’s Rookie Diva Naomi some advice. No really, that was what they were saying! The shoving was probably because of how stupid her hair and clothes look. Smelly and Rosa attacked from behind, so rude. People want to say LayCool haven’t made any friends, well at least they say and do things to people’s faces!

Michelle and Kelly started the match, which was almost too much for Michelle to stomach. We’re trying to think of what Smelly Kelly could smell like. It has to be awful if Michelle can barely stand to wrestle her. Kelly and her annoying screaming gets the best of Michelle for a few moments. Layla is tagged in and once again, Kelly shows she has no idea how tag team wrestling works. Before Michelle can take her spot on the apron, she and Layla get hit with a clothesline from Kelly. C’mon ref, do your job!

Rosa gets the tag in and while she should be focusing on Layla, she instead yells at Michelle in Spanish. Not necessary! While Layla tries to get help from the referee, Michelle shows some classic McCruel and chokes Rosa with her boot. It’s not cheating if you don’t get caught! Layla does a good job at keeping Rosa isolated and even knocks Kelly off the apron. Take that! While the referee is distracted with her, Michelle helps her bestie out by kicking Rosa in the back. Win at all costs, right!? Layla connects with the Lay Out and gets the 1-2-3 for her team! LayCool celebrate in the ring and use their shiny title (title, Teddy Long, that’s singular!) to check their hair and make up.

This was a good week for SmackDown because then LayCool are seen backstage with Kaval! He looks taller. Did they bring a phonebook for him to stand on? It’s time to pick whoever is going to face Lady Wa-Wa at Night of Champions. Michelle, being as brilliant as she is, got an idea when she found her “super duper cute” hat. We don’t know if we would have used those exact words, but okay! She wrote her name and Layla’s on a ton of pieces of paper and they’re going to draw one out to see who will be in the match! Kaval can draw for them, deal? Deal. Deal. DEAL! LayCool hold hands and prepare themselves for who will be chosen. “It’s Michelle!” YAY!!!! Michelle jumps around, knocking the hat out of his hands. Layla doesn’t look too happy when Michelle hugs her though.. Michelle says she has to finish packing and leaves. Meanwhile Kaval is picking up all the little pieces of paper that fell out. Layla tries to reason that a deal is a deal and that it was fair, but Kaval has to open his yap. He points out that all the papers say Michelle. We did say she was brilliant! Layla gets even more upset and says that Michelle will be standing alone at the PPV. Unfortunately she won’t because although we do get to see Michelle vs. Melina for the second year in a row at Night of Champions, the ring will be surrounded by all the other divas.

This can’t be good for LayCool. We all know how competitive Michelle is and we’re sure the thought of her making more history by becoming the first ever Unified Women’s Champion is extremely tempting. At the end of the day it has to be every woman for herself, so we can’t put all the blame on her. Maybe Layla should have thought of that first! Though if she did, Michelle probably would have kicked her head off. Drama aside, Michelle’s wrestling tonight! Michelle and Melina had a great match last year and we’re hoping this year will be even better! Yes, we do mean better in that Michelle will make history once again.

What’s this? Michelle McCool in action inside the ring and not backstage?! This week she’s taking on Smelly Kelly, again. Oh well, we won’t complain. Sure we would have loved a backstage and/or promo to go along with the match this week, but we understand that the chances of that happening are slim to none.

The match kicks off when Michelle turns to Layla to make sure her hair is perfect. Oh, and it is! We’ve only said this a million times since, but we love seeing the long blonde hair back! While Michelle gets her primp on, Kelly comes from behind and kicks Michelle down. May we point out that Michelle called for a Time Out, okay? There was no need for Kelly to sneak attack. Sportsmanship, Kelly, learn it! By this time, Layla’s on commentary yelling at Kelly to get off her friend. Make sure you guys have sound while watching this match. Not only is the commentary of Matt Striker gold, as usual, but Layla is brilliant. She should replace that other guy. Todd? Josh? Whichever. Ooh, lightbulb! Matt Striker and JBL! Their words would be amazing. “My lovely English muffin, Layla!” “The next Mrs. Layfield… BALL GAME, MAGGLE COLE! BALL GAME!”

Right, the match. Michelle hooks Kelly in what looks like the return of her belly-to-belly suplex but switches it up at the last moment and plants Kelly on her knee. Ouch! She continues the attack to Kelly’s back while Layla continues to praise LayCool and all they stand for. They will be the first ever Unified BFF champs. Oh yes! Kelly kicks out of a pin and Michelle once again does push ups, using Kelly’s face as a substitute for the floor. Talk about drop and give me twenty! Layla says she feels so bad for Michelle because whenever she has to wrestle Kelly, she has to throw up first. That’s how bad she smells. For Halloween, they should give Kelly a pumpkin full of soap. Trick or treat, smell my feet… ew.

Kelly starts to make a big comeback, knocking Michelle down over and over. Maybe it’s just me, but Layla’s screaming is hilarious. “C’mon Michelle! Beat her.. BEAT HER! Get up!” Don’t mess with Layla’s bestie! Kelly goes for another one of her screaming headscissor takedowns, well we think that’s what she was going for, but Michelle counters it into a Faith Breaker for the 1-2-3! LayCool celebrate in the ring and it’s good times all around!

Night of Champions is going to be coming up pretty quickly. We’re hoping to see more Raw appearances by LayCool! Heck, we wouldn’t even be opposed to Melina on SmackDown. And as for Night of Champions? Maybe Kelly’s stench will scare off all the other girls and we’ll be able to have a rematch that rivals last year’s match!

Backstage (that’s beginning to be the given every week when it comes to LayCool) Rrrrrrrrosa is in Teddy’s office with a shake weight. Usually I would laugh at this thing because when I first saw it on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, I was cracking up. That is all kinds of wrong. But Rosa can’t even do that right! So many innuendos could be put here, but we’ll keep it PG. Anyway, she’s there, shaking her weight. Maybe she should go shake n bake? Teddy Long tells her she looks great. Yeah, well, his glasses are too small and he can’t see anything past his hatred for LayCool and their abundant happiness. Rosa shakes herself on out of there and Teddy sits down. In the corner a plant starts moving. The Mini-CLB is still in the tree and was spying on Teddy. Again we say, creepy! He tries to tell Teddy what he overheard, even using pantomimes. Either Hornswoggle is a horrible player at Charades or Teddy is just a ding dong. We’ll go with both. Poor Swoggle even tries a game of Pictionary. Teddy apparently doesn’t have Family Game Night because the dude cannot seem to understand anything. Clearly those squiggly lines meant, “LayCool are going to destroy Melina!” Teddy tells Hornswoggle they can work together somehow. Hopefully they won’t be playing as a team in Taboo.

LayCool are taking part in a photoshoot we’ll never see and if we do it won’t be for another 4 months. Kaval is with them as well. They take a few more shots then head over to check out their shots. Flawless… Flawless… Flawless! Wait, who said that!? Kaval!? He has come so far. He’s smiling, he’s using LayCool’s language. Did you vote for him yet?

Layla suggests someone who could use their help. Layla’s much better at playing Charades and Michelle’s a great player! She pretends to be Melina and Michelle’s still doubtful that they can help her. Layla questions if Teddy will like what they have planned for the 900th episode of Raw. LayCool may never be wrong, but Teddy probably get his long johns in a knot when they help people! He’s such a Negative Nancy, seriously. He’s about as wrong as Melina’s outfit at SummerSlam. LayCool really are always right! They said what we were all thinking. Melina looked like Big Bird and a Vegas Showgirl hooked up. Apparently it was something about a tribe but LayCool have no idea what tribe that was.

Layla gets excited and wants to talk about this Monday again, but the room has to be cleared out. Kaval, being such a good Rookie, ushers everyone else out. Michelle whispers their top secret plans to Layla and that’s all she wrote. Is it Monday yet?! We can’t wait to find out what LayCool have in store for Raw’s resident cry baby! Do you guys have any ideas??

Recap: Rosa needs a gym membership, Teddy has to get help from a leprechaun he can’t understand, LayCool take Flawless pictures, Big Bird is running around naked, Melina is beyond help and next Monday will be one of the best episodes of Raw because LayCool are going to be there!!!
