With questions that have never been asked before and answers never before revealed, you’ll definitely want to check out the conclusion to our two part exclusive 5th Anniversary interview with Michelle McCool!
MM.NET: We’ll admit, sometimes it’s hard to remember that you are only human. Beyond the glitz and glamor, traveling the world border to border, being on television, having the fame and fortune and beyond the celebrity… Yes, Michelle McCool is only human. That said, when was the last time you’ve had a good cry?
McCOOL: Yes, we all put our pants on one leg at a time….except for the occasional “Oh my, I have to lay down and try to make these things fit” times! :) The last time I had a very hard, good cry was on Jan. 20th, the day my grandfather died.
MM.NET: Over the years you’ve become quite the fan favorite, but recently we’ve discovered that you’re just as popular over the rainbow, too – with the gay community. In a recent poll, you were voted the number two gay-fan favorite Diva, right behind Melina. How does that make you feel?
McCOOL: Sweet….I love it!!!!!!!!!
MM.NET: We all have classes in school that we love. Then we have some that are absolutely awful! Josie was all about Art History while math was a complete bore. Katy loved Zoology, but like Josie, cannot stand math. What were your favorites and least favorites?
McCOOL: I hated Social Studies and math. I did fine in them but I just didn’t like them! Sciences, particularly Anatomy & Pbysiology, was by far my favorite!!
MM.NET: There’s no denying that your body is in tip-top shape, a physical masterpiece if you will! However, please do make the rest of us feel better about ourselves by telling us which part of your body is the hardest to train/tone!?
McCOOL: Oh goodness! Thank you….Well, minus a few rare features (my feet, my ribs, my obliques), I’m shaped pretty much just like my mom. Thanks Mom! However, both sides of my parents were tall. So, I guess I should say “thanks Mom & Dad!” Seriously though, we all have parts that bug us, parts we never will be satisfied with. But the thing is, you just have to embrace yourself, love yourself and be confident with what you’ve got. It’s no secret I love to stay active…..but our bodies do constantly change. One day varies to the next with something I think could be more toned! Yes, I am flawless :), but we all have our concerns. Today, my hands are really bothering me. Yes, I know that sounds corny, but I’m bundled up and they’re the only thing showing:) They’re dry and my fingers are swollen! :( Too much salt I guess :)
MM.NET: Through your Twitter, all of your fans know how dedicated you are to Krav Maga and just how sore it makes you! What made you want to get involved with that style of combat?
McCOOL: I watched an episode of it on Fight Quest and was intrigued from that moment on. Being a female on the road, you encounter alot of awkward situations that I think it’s important to be aware of. It’s a situational self defense technique that has no rules – it’s AMAZING!
MM.NET: You’ve been wrestling for nearly six years now. Do you still get butterflies before you go out in front of a live audience?
McCOOL: Yes….without a doubt! Its good butterflies & I hope they never go away!!
MM.NET: What was the weirdest fan experience you had during WrestleMania weekend? What was the best?
McCOOL: Oh goodness…during WM weekend? I didn’t have anything too strange. I did have a guy wait in line for an hour and a half (literally) then get up to the stage & just tell me he didn’t like me and didn’t want a picture with me. Hello silly??? You just stood in line for 90 minutes to tell me that! That made me laugh! :) But, there are always many many great encounters with the fans! WM axxess is always so much fun to me! We get to meet all the fans, young & old! I love it!
MM.NET: With WrestleMania weekend on the mind, some photos have surfaced online of you and Kane doing a private signing. The Big Red Monster was sporting a Big Black Eye. What on Earth did he do to upset you so bad that you gave him a knuckle sandwich!? :-p
McCOOL: He smarted off! I don’t play games. ;)
MM.NET: You’re on the road and traveling constantly. We all know how much your family means to you and of course you miss them, but what are some of the little things you miss from home? If you could bring anybody on the road with you (family member or friend) who would it be?
McCOOL: My whole McCool clan, godson & his family, my Casey’s….IDK – I’m sure I’m forgetting some, but that’d be some good entertainment on the road! :)
MM.NET: Southern families are commonly known for their yummy home cooked meals! What’s your favorite meal to have when you head back home to Florida?
McCOOL: Ummm…. I get my “cooking” from my mom. One thing I always LOVED were my grandaddy’s black eyed peas….straight from the garden – nothing better! Other than that, I have my favorite little restaurant where I get a Greek salad & pizza! Nowhere better!!! Great, now I’m craving that :)
MM.NET: Speaking of cooking, the last we heard was that you aren’t exactly Martha Stewart in the kitchen. Have you gotten any better or is the microwave still your best friend?
McCOOL: Still my best friend! :)
MM.NET: For kicks and giggles, who would you most like to be in an on screen relationship with? And no, you may not pick Layla or Vickie! Men only!
McCOOL: Duh…of course it’d be Lay and Vickie – are you kidding me? :) Umm…..Dusty Rhodes or Arn Anderson!:)
MM.NET: And now, the question Josie has been dying to know the answer to: What do you think of Dolph Ziggler as an entertainer and also as a person?
McCOOL: I think Dolph is great all-around! He’s very entertaining to me & works VERY hard! I think he’ll be around, entertaining for quite some time!
MM.NET: Okay Michelle, we have to know! On Twitter, your blogs, e-mails, you add in smiley faces. Special smiley faces. They look something like :)) What’s with the second )?? Are your smilies a little chunky and have a double chin? A lot of your fans have started using it as well. Is it a special Michelle emoticon? Do tell!
McCOOL: I’m not real sure to be honest!:)) Maybe it’s just a bigger smile, dimples….idk – it’s a happier smiley face, that’s all!:))
MM.NET: You have done autograph signings with the likes of MVP, Tommy Dreamer, Matt Hardy and Kane to name a few. Who has been the most fun to do a meet ‘n greet with? Got any fun stories from one of them you’d like to share?
McCOOL: Signings are always fun! I like doing them with Kane & Christian! I love the kids who are terrified of Kane, but obviously want his autograph. They come up with their heads down, barely looking up to make eye contact!:) Christian is really funny ….it seems like we are always laughing!
MM.NET: You have one free day. No plans, no work, no packing, no laundry, nada! From sun up to sun down, how would you spend your day?
McCOOL: Outdoors from sun up to sun down, preferably with my toes between the sand and the sound of waves crashing near me!
MM.NET: Depending on cultures, families and how you’re raised, holidays and certain events are celebrated to the max! Obviously at MichelleMcCool.Net, your birthday is like our WrestleMania. Your WWE anniversary is SummerSlam and.. well you get the idea. We want to know what you thought when you saw the site on January 25, 2010. Were you totally surprised?! Or were we not as sneaky as we tried to be?
McCOOL: Y’all definitely got me! That was awesome, so heartwarming. I used to always want a surprise birthday party but never had one, so this was it. I loved all of the messages, the pictures….it was so special!!! I can’t thank you enough!
MM.NET: As we mentioned before, birthdays are a pretty big deal around these parts. MichelleMcCool.Net is now 5 years old! What do you think about that?
McCOOL: I thank you, and I think it’s awesome…. FLAWLESS!!!!
MM.NET: Keeping with the theme of “five,” what have been five of your favorite memories that involve MichelleMcCool.Net?
McCOOL: Definitely my birthday message this year, the changing layouts (I can’t choose just one), the continuous defense on my behalf:)), the creativity & the wonderful people who make it all happen!!!!
